The Common Organic System Plan (OSP) is a standardized, risk-based template launched by the USDA in the spring of 2026 to streamline organic certification. It provides producers, certifiers, and inspectors with a shared baseline structure for documenting organic practices, making the certification process simpler and more consistent.

The Organic Integrity Database created the USDA Organic Certifier Locator. This resource is updated regularly by the National Organic Program and it provides accurate information about accredited organic certifying agents.
