Pitner Provisions

Norwich, ND
Karalyn Pitner

Pitner Provisions is a small, family-run farm in North Dakota, built from a love of our backyard garden and a desire to live more connected to our food and our land. I have been a hobby gardener my whole adult life, and in 2024 began growing with deeper intention, sharing some of our products with friends and family. In 2025, we officially launched Pitner Provisions as a brand and opened our vintage trailer farmstand.

Today, the farm is a shared effort, with our three daughters alongside us planting, harvesting, gathering flowers, and helping run the stand.

Our days are shaped by the seasons and the rhythm of our northern climate. We grow a mix of vegetables and cut flowers and produce small-batch canned goods, all with a homegrown and homemade approach. We use simple, sustainable practices that prioritize soil health, thoughtful stewardship, and balance for our family. Everything we grow and make is rooted in care, not just for the land, but for the people it feeds.

Our farmstand has become a space for both gathering and learning. Whether it is someone building their own bouquet, choosing fresh food for their table, or asking how something was grown, we value every opportunity to help our community feel more connected to their food and where it comes from.

At its heart, Pitner Provisions is about providing connection to the land, to food, to community, and to each other. We are building more than a farm. We are creating a place where people can slow down, learn, and feel a part of something meaningful.
