Taste & Talk: Growing Markets Summit & Local Food Showcase brings together local food producers, grocers, food service professionals, and community partners to strengthen the regional food supply chain. Spend the day learning and the evening connecting over a locally sourced farm-to-fork meal.
The Growing Markets Summit offers a day of learning and collaboration for producers looking to expand into new markets. Educational sessions will cover wholesale preparedness, food hub models, marketing local foods to grocers, producer success stories, and collaborative strategies that support local businesses to thrive in the regional food system.
Summit highlights:
Hear from a local farmer and rural grocery store owner as she shares her experience growing her operation for wholesale sales and her perspective of aggregating fresh produce, processed meats, and baked goods from other farmers.
