This three-part webinar series will equip you with the information and tools needed to achieve organic success. 


Session 1 - The Why of Organic: Introduction & Farmer Experiences

In the first installment of the FARRMS Going Organic webinar series we will learn about the history of the organic farming movement both worldwide and in North Dakota. The webinar will begin with a discussion on the history of modern organic agriculture from its origins in ancient Vedic farming practices in India, to its adoption in England as “humus farming” and finally its establishment in the US by J.I. Rodale, founder of Rodale Institute. We will briefly cover how the USDA Organic program works and learn about key people…
