Communications Capacity Building Member
Position Summary:
Through the Souris Basin Planning Council Community Builder Program, the Communications Capacity Building Member will assist the Marketing Manager in creating and planning social media content, writing newsletter articles, managing the 2025 calendar project, editing videos, and monitoring inboxes. This person will collaborate with FARRMS staff in creating new marketing projects and continue to maintain existing marketing activities.
Time Commitment
This is a remote work opportunity at 25-30 hours per week for 900 hours to be completed before September 30, 2024.
Compensation
Member will receive up to $12,600 total (roughly $14/hour) and is eligible for a monthly grocery or rent stipend, and an education award up to $3,447.50 upon completion of service. Click to view the Souris Basin AmeriCorps Community Builder Program Details & ND Overview for more information.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate has some experience in social media and digital marketing. They write concise, compelling messaging and create visually appealing social media content using FARRMS’ brand and style guidelines. They are familiar with Adobe Creative Suite, Facebook, Instagram, Canva, Meta Business Suite, and Mailchimp and are comfortable learning to use new computer programs.
