Organic Livestock Workshop Dec 5, 2009
What does it take to raise livestock organically? Where are the markets for certified organic livestock? These questions and many more will be addressed at the Organic Livestock Workshop being held in Jamestown on December 5th at 9:00 a.m. at the Quality Inn.
The training will cover transitioning your livestock, pasture management and acceptable veterinary practices.
A panel of experienced organic livestock producers will also share their stories and tips.
To register please send a check for $25 to FARRMS prior to 11/15, after that date the registration will be $50 so register early. Lunch is included in your registration. Include your email address and what workshop you are registering for when you send payment.
